World War One SPAD XIII Original Painting
$300.00
When the U.S. entered World War One, it did so without a combat-ready fighter plane. The solution was the French-built SPAD XIII. The aircraft proved to be more advanced than German fighters at the time. Most notably, U.S. Captain Edward V. Rickenbacker flew this aircraft to a U.S. high 26 aerial victories during the war.
